The Broad Arrow Tavern, 162 Main St., 865-9377.  Open kitchen and wood fired oven and grill in a Maine Hunting Lodge setting with the birch back canoe and other relics and trophies of a by gone era. The Maine Dining Room offers guests a taste of creative twists on traditional New England Fare in a firelit atmosphere. Focusing on a fresh approach to ingredients, the Maine Dining Room specializes in organic foods, naturally-raised beef, poultry and pork and locally procured, grown and picked items.  Traditional classics such as Chateaubriand, Rack of Lamb and Caesar Salad as well as flaming desserts are prepared tableside for 2 or more guests. Our chef creates her menus for ingredients brought daily from local farmers. The Maine Dining Room has won the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence from 1991 through 2008.
